A friend suggested that the Postmodern Christianity movement is really just conversations about how to be a Christian in the current climate - which I think is a great description of the core of this stuff, but pomo-christianity doesn’t describe the fruit or anything else surrounding the movement.

On my travels I’ve observed that the Emerging Chruch movement & Postmodern Christianity seem to have no place outside young middle-class christendom subcultures. It removes barriers for a few educated already-Christians, but is it helpful for anyone else outside this narrow population strata? (or thin ice perhaps?)
